How we think about hygiene and food quality

Ordering food means trusting a kitchen you can't see. We don't take that lightly — it's the whole reason WowZayka exists as real kitchens cooking real food, not a faceless marketplace. Here's how we think about quality and hygiene.

A freshly prepared WowZayka meal

Cooked fresh, the same day

The single biggest thing that keeps food safe and good is simple: cook it fresh and get it to you quickly. WowZayka meals are prepared the same day they're delivered, for that meal's window — not cooked in bulk days ahead and reheated. Fresh-daily isn't a slogan for us; it's how the kitchen is built to run.

Real kitchens, cooking home-style

Your meal comes from a real neighbourhood kitchen cooking for people nearby — not a centralised commissary shipping food across the city. The food is home-style: simple, fresh ingredients, cooked the way you'd cook at home, without deep-fried shortcuts to cut corners.

Healthier by choice

Quality is also about what goes in the food. We cook without palm oil, using healthier oils instead — a deliberate choice, because the cheapest option isn't the one you deserve eating every day. (More on that here.)

Held to a standard — and growing openly

Every kitchen we work with is held to high hygiene and food-safety standards, and we treat that as non-negotiable rather than a nice-to-have. As WowZayka grows, we plan to be increasingly open about our kitchens and practices — because trust is earned by showing, not just saying.
